中心宗旨 ▏ About the Center

Latin America refers to the vast American region in the south of the United States. It had been involved in the historical process of globalization at the end of the 15th century. For a long time, Latin America has been an important place for exporting primary products and a melting pot of different races and cultures, playing an important role in the development of the world economy and the exchange of civilizations. Since the new millennium, economic and trade relations between Latin America and China have become increasingly close, and China has gradually become a major trading partner for many countries in the region. Bilateral and multilateral political and cultural exchanges have also become more frequent. This trend became more obvious after the establishment of the China-Latin American Community Forum in 2014.
