Dr. ZHANG Shulan is Director of the Center for South Asian Studies at Shandong University and visiting professor of Center for South Asia Studies at Shanghai University. She got her Doctor Degree from History Department of Peking University in June 2002. Since December 2010, she has been a full Professor of School of Political Science and Public Administration, Shandong University. She is also a member of Chinese Federation of South Asian Studies and member of the International Association of Asian Scholars. As a Chinese scholar, she was a Senior Associate Membership of St Antony’s College, Oxford University,UK, from October 1st, 2006, to September 30th, 2007. She was also an Asian Fellowship, a Visiting Scholar in the Center for East Asian Studies, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, India, from January 19th 2008 to July 17th 2008.

ZHANG Jincui is currently an associate professor of International Relations at the School of Social Sciences, Shanghai University. She received her PhD in International Relations from Fudan University in 2007. At present, her research interests include Sino-Indian Relations, International Strategy, and Sino-US relations. In recent years, she mainly focuses on the disputes over transnational rivers between China and India. She is the author ofthe U.S Military Sanctions against China: from Defending "Human Rights" to Preventing "Threat"published by Social Sciences Academic Press of China. This book was awarded as one of "Ten Choice Books in International Relations in 2011". Her articles have been published in journals including theAmerican Studies Quarterly, Foreign Affairs Review, International Politics Quarterly,etc. She is the recipient of one National Social Science Fund of China and one Innovation Program of Shanghai Municipal Education Commission. From 2016-2017, she worked as a visiting scholar sponsored by China Scholarship Council at School of Public Policy, Center for International and Security Studies of University of Maryland.
