香港中文大学博士,上海大学历史系教授,2010-2011学年为美国乔治城大学伯克利宗教、和平及世界事务中心博士后研究员,2013-2016年任土耳其海峡大学孔子学院中方院长。主要研究领域包括:宗教史及比较宗教(基督教和伊斯兰教)、全球化、土耳其、恐怖主义等。出版专著《全球化、公共宗教及世俗主义——基督教与伊斯兰教的比较研究》(2013年)和《全球化背景下的宗教与政治》(2011年),并担任《土耳其蓝皮书》的主编之一。
LIU Yi got his PhD from The Chinese University of Hong Kong(2008), and is now a Professor of History at Shanghai University. In the 2010-2011 academic year, he worked as a post-doctoral fellow at Georgetown’s Berkley Center for Religion, Peace and World Affairs. From 2013 to 2016, he acted as Chinese Director of Confucius Institute at Böğaziçi University, Turkey. His research and teaching focus is on history of religion and comparative religion (Christianity & Islam), globalization, Turkey, and terrorism. He is the author of Religion and Politics in a Global Context (Shanghai, 2011), and Globalization, Public Religions and Secularism: A Comparative Study of Christianity and Islam (Shanghai, 2013). He is also co-editor of Annual Report on Turkey’s National Development.
