上海大学文学院历史系教授，博士生导师。上海大学土耳其研究中心研究员，中国世界近代史研究会理事，中国中东学会理事，中国世界古代史研究会理事。主要研究领域：世界近现代史、帝国兴衰史、中东史。出版专著《工业文明的挑战与中东近代经济的转型》、《英国在中东的委任统治研究》、《晚期奥斯曼帝国研究（1792-1918）》。

WANG Sanyi is a professor in the Department of History, College of Liberal Arts at Shanghai University. He is also a researcher at the Center for Turkish Studies at Shanghai University. He is the member of the Association of Modern History of the World in China and the Association of Ancient History of the World in China. His major research fields include Modern and Contemporary History of the World, History of the Rise and Fall of Empires, History of Middle East. He has published several books such as Challenges of Industrial Civilization and Transformation of Modern Economy in Middle East, Britain’s Mandatory Rule in Middle East and Research on the Late Ottoman Empire (1792-1918).
